Statistics Canada hiring more than 35,000 people across Canada

Back in December, I wrote about the thousands of census jobs available with Statistics Canada.

Earlier this week, Statistics Canada launched another recruitment campaign. In addition to the jobs they advertised in December, the government agency in charge of running the census is now looking to hire more than 35,000 enumerators and crew leaders across Canada. You read that right ... more than 35,000 census jobs are available!

And so if you're at least 18 years old, are a Canadian citizen (or have a valid work permit), enjoy working with people, are looking for a flexible job, can follow instructions, and know how to operate a computer, you'll definitely want to consider applying for one of the census jobs available in your area.

While the recruitment campaign launched in December focused on Early Enumerator and Census Data Operations Centre jobs, the latest campaign is focused on hiring thousands of Enumerators and Crew Leaders across the country.
