So you've decided you want to work in a theme park this summer? Great, but then you realize that Canada's Wonderland is too far north for you?
If that's the case, then look towards the Toronto Islands and it's very own theme park, Centreville. Beasley Amusements, the company that owns Centreville, is currently looking to hire hundreds of staff for it's busy summer season.
At the moment, Centreville is looking to fill summer jobs in the following areas: food services, retail sales, rides, game operations, and ticket sales.
The salary ranges, but you can at least expect minimum wage and lots of hours - after all, Centreville is one of the Toronto Islands' premier attractions and they need lots of staff to offer each visitor a unique and fun experience.
There are two ways of applying for summer jobs with Centreville. You can fill out an online application form and provide details on your experience and skills.
Alternatively, you can apply in-person at Centreville's winter office located at 84 Advance Road. Just drop in any Tuesday or Friday (until March 25th, 2011) between 10:00am to 4:00pm. Bring your resume and be prepared for an interview because all applicants will be interviewed during their visit.
The best way to get to Centreville's winter office is via TTC. Take the subway to Islington station and then take the 110/110A/110B Islington South bus to the Advance Road stop.

P.S. - As I tell all my clients, whenever you apply for a job in-person, I recommend bringing a friend and definitely let your family and friends know where you'll be. Toronto's a big city and safety and vigilance is key!
