Service Ontario looking for part-time staff

Interested in starting a career with the Ontario Public Service?

Do you have great customer service skills?

Are you available to work a variety of shifts at locations in and around the GTA?

If you answered "yes" to all three questions, then read on for two really interesting part-time opportunities with ServiceOntario.

In a nutshell, ServiceOntario kiosks can be found in communities throughout Ontario and provide a place where "members of the general public, business people and other client groups can easily and efficiently obtain information and transactional services provided by the Provincial Government, and can also access information regarding municipal and federal governments and local community agencies".

There are two separate job calls currently advertised on the Government of Ontario Jobs website:

Looking for 4 (four) regular, part-time Customer Care Representatives to work at the ServiceOntario kiosk located at 777 Bay Street, Toronto.

For information on specific job duties, check out the job spec.

Also, take note that the hourly wage ranges from $23.54 to $26.49 per hour and you will work 18.25 hours, perfect for students looking to earn extra cash during the year.

Looking for 8 (eight) on-call, contract Customer Care Representatives to work at ServiceOntario kiosks located at: 777 Bay Street, Toronto; 4400 Dufferin Street, Toronto; and 50 Bloomington Road West, Aurora.

Also, take note that the hourly wage ranges from $23.54 to $26.49 per hour and that there's no specific mention of how many hours a week you will receive. Also, because this job is on-call, you may have to travel to other offices in the GTA region.
