Summer Job Spotlight ... Interesting summer journalism job in Tenerife

If you're a post-secondary student looking for an exciting summer journalism job or a summer journalism internship, then this will definitely be of interest to you.

Puerto Azul, a hotel on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, is currently looking for someone to write articles on Tenerife for their website. You would be based on the island and would write about a range of travel-related topics and will have a chance to see your work published on a number of platforms.

Ideal candidates must meet the following requirements:

- Aged 18 years or older
- Studying journalism or a similar area or has relevant qualifications/experience, preferably related to travel/tourism
- Excellent writing skills in either English or German
- Exceptional research, communication and organizational skills

- Able to travel as the applicant is responsible for visa, insurance, and flight fees
- Can commit for at least one month, 5 days per week (approximately 7 hours per day)
- Is available between May and mid-July or September and October
- Provide a letter from your university or college that states this position will be beneficial for your work experience, internship requirements or resume

While not necessary, having these skills would be a huge asset:

- Able to speak, read, and understand Spanish
- Photography skills
