Summer Job Spotlight ... Launch your career in the security sector!

Have you thought that a career in the security or law enforcement sector is for you?

Are you interested in the industry but don't want to make a major career/occupational change until you know it's right for you?

Well, if either situation applies to you, then take note - Enforce Security Services Ltd., a Toronto-based private security firm has 100 security-related positions available throughout the Greater Toronto area.

There are two different positions available.

- Airport Security Guard: 70 positions available and although it is not stated, I assume that the positions will be based out of Toronto-Pearson International Airport.

- Office Building Concierge: 30 positions available in office buildings throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

The starting salary for both positions is $15 per hour with added bonuses and other benefits. The job ad does not mention that applicants need special certification; however, it does say that Enforce will offer training.

As well, keep in mind that both positions provide a starting point for those interested a future career in security services/consulting and law enforcement. And since buildings and airports need 24-hour security, there are a variety of shifts available that will likely fit within your own personal schedule.

To apply for either position, call (416) 538-7770 between 9am - 5pm and ask to speak with Mark. There are no further application instructions and I assume that you will be asked to visit the offices, located at Bloor & Dufferin, to hand in a resume, fill out an application form, and complete an in-person interview.

Good luck!

And keep an eye out for my upcoming series on part-time and full-time temporary positions with various vendors at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE)!
